The Big Bras D’Or saltwater lakes are accessible from the open ocean and cruised by large ocean going yachts that enter under the Seal Island Bridge. They offer 450 square miles of cruising with whatever type of boat you prefer - yachts from over the world cruise the fog-free lakes with water temperatures in the low 80’s during the summer months.
