CHURCH BUILDING FOR SALE - ST. MARY’S RIVER, NEAR SHERBROOKE

This beautiful little Anglican church was built in 1927. After many years of active worship the church hadn’t been used since the early 1990s. The building was deconsecrated in August, 2010, and recently the Parish made a decision to sell the building.

Over the past five years, a local group interested in the building began to raise funds for the much needed repairs with plans to lease the church from the Parish. They did accomplish some of this work but due to falling lack of interest, that project has been abandoned, thus the reason to sell the building.

Conditions in the sale are as follows:
1. The building located in the middle of the cemetery has to be moved from the site by the purchaser;
2. Any offer or sale is pending the final approval of such offer by the Bishop of the Diocese of NS-PEI.
